The course

Course description

Participants meet in Park Beach Reserve, Coffs Harbour.
The event starts in Park Beach Reserve, doing a lap of the reserve in a clockwise direction. As the lap is completed, participants head along the sealed concrete path heading in a southerly direction towards Coffs Harbour Marina. The continuous path leads into the Coffs Harbour Marina Precinct and along the northern breakwall of the marina heading towards Mutton Bird Island. At the base of Mutton Bird Islands, participants follow the path around the marina and head out along the southern wall of the marina. The turn around point being towards the end of the southern marina breakwall. Participants then retrace their steps back to Park Beach Reserve. Upon arriving in the reserve, participants do another clockwise loop before completing their 5km parkrun.

On the course

The course is 5k long. The course is at Park Beach Reserve, Coffs Harbour. The course is run on a mixture of concrete paths and grass. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

Please remember that the parkrun uses shared paths. For the continued success of the event, please give way to other park users. This won't hurt your time, it won't stop you from getting a PB and it will make sure everyone continues to enjoy the event.

Please, wherever possible walk, jog, cycle or use public transport when attending the event. If you do have to drive, please consider car-sharing to reduce our impact on both the environment and other park users. Please also watch out for other park users when arriving and leaving. Parking may be limited so try to arrive early.
