The course
Course description
Llwybr Dyffryn Tywi parkrun, Nantgaredig takes place on the scenic Tywi Valley Path, starting in Nantgaredig and following a riverside route through the Tywi Valley. The route follows an out-and-back format. After reaching the turnaround point, participants retrace their steps back towards Nantgaredig. Runners are asked to keep left throughout the course. The course is on a tarmac surface.
On the course
The course is 5k long. The course is at Llwybr Dyffryn Tywi (Tywi Valley Path), Nantgaredig. The course is run entirely on permanent paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
Please remember that the parkrun uses shared paths. For the continued success of the event, please give way to other park users. This won't hurt your time, it won't stop you from getting a PB and it will make sure everyone continues to enjoy the event.
Please, wherever possible walk, jog, cycle or use public transport when attending the event. If you do have to drive, please consider car-sharing to reduce our impact on both the environment and other park users. Please also watch out for other park users when arriving and leaving. Parking may be limited so try to arrive early.
Facilities
Parking, toilet facilities and refreshments are available at the Nantgaredig RFC. These facilities are provided through the goodwill of Nantgaredig RFC, and parkrunners are asked to treat the club, its grounds and staff with respect at all times.
