What is the Match parkrun challenge?
Match is a parkrun challenge where two different numbers line up on the same morning. You complete it when your personal parkrun finish count matches the edition number of the event you've just finished. For example, if you're completing your 100th parkrun and the venue is holding its 100th event, that's a Match. It doesn't matter whether you finish in position 1 or 300, because your finishing position is unrelated to the rule. Only one matching result is needed. It's a neat coincidence that connects your own parkrun journey with the history of a particular event.
- Your 100th finish at an event holding its 100th edition is a match.
- The total is counted from the results in date order, including that finish.
- Volunteer totals are not used.
